Boston…Put this concert on your Summer schedule…

Tom Scholz playing his gold top Gibson Les Paul.

Boston. This was a great show. Much more than I expected. Actually I had skipped these Boston tours for many years because I could not believe this complex music could be reproduced very well in a live setting. I was wrong. They rocked it and I was glad I was standing there when they did it. I loved the Rockman amps, the hyper-space guitar pedal, the cockpit view video, and the crowd of mostly 1970’s era rockers who were obviously into this show. The entire audience stood in unison as hit after hit flew off the stage and they raised their hands to hear their past played on stage in front of them. I am sure if there was a memory meter that could measure brain waves it would have been maxed on the scale. So go see this band while they still tour. The ticket prices were fair and it is a great concert value. I’ll leave you with a song.

Until next time, I’ll see you, down the road.

Don’t look back
A new day is breakin’
It’s been too long since I felt this way
I don’t mind where I get taken
The road is callin’
Today is the day

I can see
It took so long to realize
I’m much too strong
Not to comprimise
Now I see what I am is holding me down
I’ll turn it around

I finally see the dawn arrivin’
I see beyond the road I’m drivin’
Far away and left behind

It’s a new horizon and I’m awakin’ now
Oh I see myself in a brand new way
The sun is shinin’
the clouds are breakin’
‘Canse I can’t lose now, there’s no game to play

I can tell
There’s no more time left to criticize
I’ve seen what I could not recognize
Everthing in my life was leading me on
but I can be strong

I finally see the dawn arrivin’
I see beyond the road I’m drivin’
Far away and left behind
