Sometimes when I look at the state of the United States as of today I worry. Foreign goods flooding the docks and stores. People needing jobs. Farmers fighting to survive big business and I think we need to change a few things. Quite a few things. It starts at the top. Leadership. I don’t like to mix politics with music. But I will say what we need is more John Mellencamp bands and musicians. We need more pride in the country. We need more “I bought it local” and I know I am helping my neighbor. We need less big box and more small business waving a flag. Maybe in a subliminal way when I hear this band I feel that way and I know I try to help in my own way. That is a start. Spread the word.
