So Scott can play the blues with Gregg like so many before him. I have known most of the players in this band in one way or another. I have certainly listened to them for hours and hours. Scott has the tone. He has the groove. I see Gregg smile when he watches him play and I understand why. There are guitar players and there are the players who hear the music…the tone…they are few. Scott gets it. I remember the first time I saw him play ‘Hot Lanta’ live and I felt tears of joy at the tone at the end of the song. I am an old live music curmudgeon and it takes a lot to do that. “Nuff said.
