Let’s wrap this report. The show was great. Sheryl and the band are working very hard. The tour is a grind! Look at the schedule! You all need a break!

I loved the set list. It was a nice mix of new and old. The new album is one that hits a chord with me so they could have just played that and I would have been happy. But a few of the hits were nice too.

The band is awesome and the sound was great. As the show ended and we waited for an encore I made a strange observation. Maybe it was just this crowd, I dunno. But, there were no lighters or cell phones being held up. My lone iPhone with the zippo lighter was the only one seen and soon I thought maybe I should just not do this as I am not being hip when no one understands. I smiled. Oh well.

The couple beside me were talking and I interjected that I was looking forward to the next three songs. They asked if I had any ideas what they would play. I said “I Want You Back” and “I Shall Believe.” She played them. And they were GREAT.

Most of you know Sheryl sang backup vocals for Michael Jackson on tour. Some of you remember Sheryl singing backup for Jimmy Buffett on tour as well. She plays to the Michael Jackson thing on this song. It was very cool.
