Little Feat 2020

Wow wow wow….I can’t wait to hear the outcome of this project. I miss the band members that are gone more than most will ever know. I still love seeing the band members who are still here even as we age and the ones who fill in the special places to keep the music alive. I have been on this Little Feat journey for a long time and will always love this music. I can’t wait to hear the tracks that are coming and I never tire of the ones that exist from all the awesome years. Enjoy this introduction just released today. I just keep listening to it. Scott Sharrard is the perfect addition to this band for 2020. Scott’s slide playing has raised the hair on my neck at more than one Gregg Allman band live show. Amy Helm, daughter of Levon Helm and Tony Leone fit right in on this track.

This track was released today. It is so well done.

This video reminds me of the musical journey from the first Little Feat show with Lowell George on the stage all the way through all the years and so many flashbacks to great live music in so many places.

I keep things around me to feel the spirits of those who made me smile with music in my life. This is a photo of the drum sticks I keep in a special box in my listening room. They once belonged to Ritchie Hayward.
I just pulled out two of Paul Barrere’s picks from my collection and put them on my desk for this photo. I keep these things close to keep the spirits around. There were so many great shows and so many great memories.
My ticket from the first Little Feat show so long ago. I remember Lowell being on the stage in white overalls that night and all the band lined up kicking their legs in the air together playing. I have been a fan, supporter, stage hand, and friend of the band for most of my life.
