The Robert Cray Band played a blazing set Friday night at the historic Carolina Theatre. Robert said he had been used to doing a 35 minute set for his warm-up to Eric Clapton and they were going to “stretch-out” tonight..and they did. This band can play some nice stuff. I have seen this band play many times over the years and they are always great. Smokin’ Gun! – yes Robert always ends his set with that song….Ain’t Nothin’ But a Woman – no he didn’t play it although someone in the crowd did yell the title out…Go see this band you won’t be dissapointed.
