One of the challenges was to sing ‘Off to See the Lizard.” We had the actual tour lizard from the Buffett tour of many years ago on the stage at this time as it was being given away as a raffle prize to raise some charity dollars. I still think that is a great album and I can remember the day it came out. I was driving back from a business meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina and I had to stop in a music store to pick up the cd. I later had the music so loud in my car as I was trying it out I failed to note my speed on the highway. I ended up getting a ticket for 78 in a 55 so I ended up “off to see the court.” It was all good. I told the trooper I was jamming to a new cd. He didn’t seem to be impressed with my story. ‘Nuff said.
