I always stop by and chat with the guys who make the sound what it is at a show. Most Steely Dan shows are awesome in the sound department. This show was no exception although I had my http://www.etymotic.com earplugs in. I was checking the db level at sound check and saw close to 100 db level. My ears need a break above 75 db these days. I really want to enjoy my high frequencies as long as I can. These earplugs are closer to filters vs. “plugs.” I own so many pairs of them I have a box to keep them in.
