This week on the podcast Andrew is joined by the legendary blues guitarist and vocalist “Steady Rollin'” Bob Margolin. Bob was a longtime touring and recording member of the Muddy Waters Band during the latter part of Muddy Waters’ career from 1973-1980. During this time Bob worked with so many of the legends of blues and rock it would take more room than there is here to list his extensive resume. Bob is a solo artist and band leader who has recorded well over a dozen personal projects through time. He played on the original “Last Waltz Tour” with Muddy Waters and giants such as Levon Helm. The newest “Last Waltz” tour featuring some stellar talent that had a resurrection in 2016 and played to sold-out venues all over the country in 2019 until the tour was halted by the pandemic. I was fortunate to see a beginning segment of that tour at the 2016 Warren Haynes Christmas Jam in Asheville, North Carolina.
